Region: Rangitikei

Roger farms a property which finishes lambs and steers, plus cash cropping, forestry, and vegetable production on the coast in the Rangitikei. He started the Rangitikei Rivers Catchment collective in 2017 which now has 26 sub catchments. He’s a strong advocate for communitybased solutions encouraging, sustainable environmental outcomes that support thriving communities through science, and education. He encourages the need to tell our rural story helping educate our increasing non-farming population.

He has also developed two products which he has patented and is marketing in NZ and overseas.
