As a Waikato farmer in a sensitive catchment, Rob has long understood the collective power of farmers addressing their issues in a pragmatic and effective way. Rob farms 145ha with his wife, Tina and leases an additional 580ha in partnership running sheep and beef. Rob chairs his Otago Dairy farm EP of 580 cows and sits on several farming family boards. In his role as leader of Total Ag (Farm Consultants) he enabled the Mangatangi Maramarua Catchment formation and subsequent MPI funding. Rob remains a member of this catchment group and has also been a founding member and set up the West Waikato Coastal Catchment Group where he lives and farms.
