Region: Hawkes Bay

Brent and his wife own a property in Patoka, Hawke’s Bay and founded the Mangaone Catchment Group 4 years ago. In 2024 Brent led the transition of it into a larger collective called the Kaweka Community Catchment Collective of which he is Deputy Chair. Brent owns a couple of off farm agribusinesses called Rural Directions Recruitment and HR and MyEnviro, so is fully ensconced in the primary sector and has connected with many across the country in the last 20 years. Brent recognises the challenges ahead in the sector, but believes that by working together we can turn them into opportunities. ANZCC can be a part of that mechanism.
