A 4th Generation dairy farmer, 2nd generation veterinarian, Alison is a firm believer that our future food production systems need to be profitable and resilient. She has dairy farmed in NZ and Australia, and worked closely with large farm collectives in Upper Waikato, Upper Waipa and Coastal Bay of Plenty. She helped raise funds and provide technical oversight of a Coastal Bay of Plenty catchment from Rotorua Lakes to the Little Waihi Estuary at Pukehina. She was awarded the NZ River Voice Award 2019/20 and was NEXT Freshwater fellow 2020. NZ Veterinary Board in 2015-2018, Head of Environment for Landcorp until 2021.
